Belgrade is a true sports metropolis. It’s the city of the world and European champions in basketball, volleyball, water polo, handball, tennis, football... It is also a fabulous host of the world and European championships and numerous sports events. Belgrade abounds in thrilling sports events, to suit everyone’s taste. You can’t manage to attend all the sports events, you have to choose.
At the Sava Lake you can, of course, swim, row, play water polo and other sports played with a ball, golf and rugby, go boardsailing, go down the slides, on pedalo boat rides, fish from the specially designed platforms... But if you prefer increased adrenaline levels, you should consider water skiing with the help of a special cableway, try bungee jumping or extreme climbing on an artificial rock. In Belgrade area there is a rich offer for hunting enthusiasts in several adapted and well-supplied hunting grounds. Also, numerous locations on the Sava and Danube rivers are available to fishermen. The small lake of Adasafari is a special gem of recreational fishing.
