The team of Museum curators has prepared a new program called "A brief tour through Serbia's Past", designed for visitors from abroad interested in learning more about Serbian history.

“A brief tour through Serbia's Past” takes place in the authentic space of the 19th-century Residence of Prince Miloš Obrenović every Thursday at 4 PM. The tour includes a 1-hour lecture about Serbian history, a 30-minute guided tour through the permanent exhibition at the Residence of Prince Miloš, and a Q&A session afterward, all in the English language.

The Residence of Prince Miloš is located in a part of Belgrade called Topčider, on the address Bulevar patrijarha Pavla 2. It was built by Prince Miloš Obrenović in 1831 as his private residence. With its structure, the neoclassical elements of the facades, and interior decoration in the style of “Turkish Baroque”, the building belongs to the representative residences erected throughout the Ottoman Empire at that time. In front of the Residence, located inside Belgrade's first planned park, there is a famous London plane tree, a protected cultural heritage of exceptional importance, one of the prettiest and largest trees in Europe.
