The Railway Museum

The Museum is located on the ground floor of the beautiful edifice housing the Serbian Railways which was built in 1931 in the Neoclassical style. The permanent exhibition titled Through the History of Serbian Railways illustrate the development of railways in Serbia and the world. The exhibition comprises several old train engines from 1861: the Rama engine that pulled the ceremonial train for Sarajevo in 1882 and which was remodeled to look like an engine from 1877; the engine Milan, the first engine built in our country, in Majdanpek in 1882.
