The Jewish Historical Museum

The Museum is located on the first floor of the building which was built in 1928 as the City Hall of Sephardi Jews in Belgrade. Its permanent exhibition is dedicated to the preservation of Jewish history and way of life. In addition to history, visitors can also learn about certain Jewish customs, architecture, culture and art in the region of the former Yugoslavia. The exhibition spans the history of Jews from their arrival to this region in the period between the 2nd and the 3rd centuries, to the Second World War and Holocaust and the renewal of the Jewish community.
