This impressive monument to one of the greatest thinkers, poets  and philosophers, the spiritual and secular ruler of Montenegro, was erected in 1994 on the plateau surrounded by the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy. The sitting bronze figure is situated on the pedestal made of Spanish reddish granite and it is the work of sculptor Sreten Stojanović.
