The White Palace
The Old Palace building is completely different in comparison to the Royal Palace in terms of style and function. It was built between 1934 and 1936 and designed by architect Alexander Đorđević, in the neoclassicism style, for the residential purposes of the sons of King Alexander Karađorđević I. On the bottom floor of this elegant building which portrays simplicity and esthetic, there is a big ceremonial entrance hall and a series of rooms decorated with furniture in the style of Louis XV and Louis XVI, a royal dining hall and a library. The walls of the White Palace are decorated with a comprehensive collection of paintings painted by the most famous artists in the world.
